Job summary

Rush Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Semi-Skilled Technician to service customers while delivering exceptional customer service. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, and removal of parts and attachments. This role is based in our Chicago area network.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and about one year of fleet, dealership, or technical school experience. Pay ranges from USD $23.00/hr to USD $41.00/hr, with an opportunity to grow within our service network.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of fleet, dealership, or technical school experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Water hose replacement, including thermostats.
• Preventive maintenance and inspections, including clutch and brake adjustments.
• Replace/repair wiper blades.
• Exterior or interior lens or bulb replacement and door courtesy light switches.
• External drive belt adjustments or replacements.
• Headlamp alignment.
• Replace turn signal flasher and emergency flasher unit; and fuse or circuit breakers.
