• Maintain building steam and chilled water systems.
• Maintain cooling tower gear boxes, fans and related equipment.
• Repair lab equipment and electrical systems.
• Inspect emergency power and fire alarm systems.
• Coordinate with Plant System Specialist on repairs.

Keypurpose

TheInstrument Control Mechanic is expected to provide a variety of industrialmaintenance activities across a wide spectrumof fields such as chiller maintenance, steam systems, high voltage powersystems and other commercial/industrial equipment. Will be required to interface with client, vendors and contractors.

JobActivities (Specific roles may vary slightly depending on location andclient).

• Electricalmaintenance, troubleshooting, repair and installation of motor control centermotors (up to 4160 V), power panels (up to 480 volts), instrumentation andcontrol circuitry
• Cleanand maintain Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Performboiler maintenance of controls and equipment (up to 2175 hp)
• Inspecttroubleshoot, repair, and calibrate pneumatic, electro-pnuematic and motor operatedvalves across a variety of manufacturers
• Maintainand repair all aspects of building steam and chilled water systems
• Maintaincooling tower related gear boxes, fans, wooden frames, etc.
• Maintainand repair equipment such as Air scrubbers, tank mixers and water containmentsystems a Sanitary and storm sewer systems (including jetting of lines)
• Wastewatertreatment systems
• ACcomponents controls and compressors
• Airhandles, exhaust fans, Liebert's and fan coils
• VariableAir Volume, mixing boxes and related HVAC equipment
• Pumpsand motors up to 250 hp (could include installation)
• Laband Clean Room Support including
• Rebuildingpiping that uses acid
• Runningspecial control lines
• Repairand install electrical elements and other equipment to withstand extreme temperatures
• Repairspecialized lab equipment
• Performelectrical maintenance including power circuits, conduit, backup systems etc.
• Inspectand maintain emergency power system and fire alarm system
• DirectPOM/PEM as needed —able to perform in absence of POM/PEM
• Coordinatewith Plant System Specialist (PSS) on repair and calibration of various systems

KeyRequirements
