Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Las Vegas is hiring a BVG Union Laborer, Journeyman to perform a range of landscape and irrigation duties using hand and power tools. This full-time role requires physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in heat and cold.

You will excavate, load and unload materials, and operate landscaping equipment, following safety guidelines and BrightView standards. A valid driver's license is preferred for vehicle operation, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 if operating company provided vehicles).
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers).
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stand, walk continuously throughout the day and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manually excavate with shovel
• Hand tool use including wheelbarrow
• General mechanical knowledge and ability to recognize various irrigation parts and assembly procedures
• Load & unload materials
