Job summary

A leading engineering and inspection company is seeking an Inspector to join their Honolulu Laboratory. The candidate will provide quality control for concrete and soils, work closely with the Project Manager, and maintain detailed documentation. Preferred qualifications include ACI Field Technician Grade 1 License and ICC Soils Inspector License. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Job description

Twining, Inc., an innovative engineering, testing, and inspection Company is seeking an Inspector to work based out of our Honolulu Laboratory. Candidate must be self-starting, be proactive, focus and detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide sampling and Quality Control of concrete and soils
• Report on preparation of special inspections in accordance with approved project documents.
• Provide as needed support to the Project Manager to ensure the approved testing program is fulfilled based on the construction schedule and sequencing pertaining to this work.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspection reports, laboratory testing reports and related project documents (including but not limited to responses to RFI, test results from materials and certification of materials; amended documents, deferred approvals, welding procedures; approved concrete mix designs, etc.).
• ACI Field Technician Grade 1 License.
• ICC Soils Inspector License is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, consultants, contractors, and potential clients.
• Must join Local 3 Operating Engineers
