Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to perform general carpentry tasks supporting project completion. You will measure, cut, fit, assemble, and install wood and related materials while interpreting drawings and maintaining safety standards.

Work with a collaborative team to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to schedule, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and productive teamwork on site.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of carpentry or related field experience required.
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs general carpentry work including measuring, cutting, fitting, assembling, and installing wood and related materials.
• Reads and interprets drawings or work instructions to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operates hand and power tools safely to construct and repair structures or components.
• Inspects completed work for accuracy, alignment, and adherence to quality standards.
• Communicates with team members to coordinate tasks and resolve challenges.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Follows DPR safety policies and procedures on all assigned work.

Job Summary:

Performs skilled carpentry tasks related to general construction, installation, and maintenance to support project completion. Applies technical knowledge to ensure accurate measurements, secure assemblies, and high-quality workmanship. Works collaboratively with other team members to maintain productivity and uphold DPR’s safety and performance standards.
