Job summary

Lyman Roofing & Siding, divisions of US LBM, is hiring a Union Forklift Operator for the 2:00 pm–10:30 pm shift. The role supports yard operations, loading, stocking and order fulfillment to ensure timely project readiness.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds, work in a team, and maintain a safe working environment. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential Saturday overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator with ability to move, stack and stage materials.
• Positive, can-do attitude and reliability required.
• Basic math skills for material counts and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Receive in-coming warehouse products, commodities and materials.
• Count and record receipt of materials.
• Stock all material received in bins or storage locations.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate forklift with foot and hand controls.
• Use forklift to build outgoing orders for lumber and building materials.
• Load completed orders onto delivery equipment with safe procedures.
• Load and unload trucks and check loads for quality and accuracy.

Our associates enjoy a Monday - Friday schedule with the opportunity for Saturday overtime. This a year-round position.

Wage: $24.04 ($22.79/hour + $1.25 Shift differential)

Schedule: 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:30pm - Monday - Friday schedule

How you will spend your day as a Union Forklift Operator:

Union Forklift Operator Requirements:

• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Basic math skills, ability to identify and measure commodities and specialty building products.
• Physical demands include standing and walking for extended periods of time, exposure to extreme temperatures, bending or stooping, regularly lifting up to 50 pounds and frequently up to 75 pounds or more.
