Job summary

Valley Interior Systems, a long-standing drywall and plaster contractor in Ohio, is hiring for on-site labor roles. The position involves physical work, lifting up to 100 lbs, and climbing stairs in varying climates. Union affiliation is required within seven days, and union dues are the employee’s responsibility.

Tools may be provided; you must bring your own hand tools. Compensation follows union scales and is determined by skill and experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical labor, lift up to 100 lbs, and stand for long periods.
• Provide your own hand tools; power and specialty tools will be provided.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work in the USA within a few days of start date, and join the union within seven days.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and assemble wood, composition, brick and/or plastic sections using shop tools.
• Prepare structures for finish applications by planning, shaping and sanding with hand and power tools.
• Follow safety rules and keep a clean, organized work area on site.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine dimensions and material needs for projects.
• Ensure all work adheres to code and deadlines; maintain a safe work environment.
