Job summary

Millcraft is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to join our team in the Cleveland area. You will drive routes, load and unload goods, and verify loads for accuracy while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires a Class A license, ability to lift 70 pounds, and strong safety and customer-service focus. You will work within a team-driven logistics environment with ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of traffic laws, DOT regulations and basic driving knowledge.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds throughout the day and work in various weather conditions.
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 7 years.
• Must pass Pre-Employment DOT background check, physical and drug screen.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU WILL MAKE

The CDL-A delivery driver role reports to the Operations Manager. It plays a critical role in the supply chain by ensuring our products’ safe and timely delivery to their intended destination. This position requires a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A and adherence to all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations.

Core Functions Of This Role

• Maintain a valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License
• Drive a semi-truck/ box truck on a designated route
• Pick up products, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed
• Load and unload cargo (weighing as little as 70 pounds)
• Use RF scanner to read barcodes and transfer product information, quantities and location information directly to warehouse management system
• Operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment in order to move order and load trucks
• Ability to safely conduct pre/ post vehicle inspections and turn inspections into the immediate supervisor
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Operate two-wheelers as necessary in order to move and load orders
• 100% Driver load/ unload
• Report any issues or concerns to management
