Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate a company truck from the warehouse to customer destinations, delivering orders on time and providing excellent service. You will maintain positive customer relations and pass along feedback.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for vehicle type.
• Experience driving a van or truck up to 26,000 GVW.
• Must pass DOT medical exam and CMV certification.
• Pre-employment physical testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Determine best routes to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver products to Graybar customers with excellent service.
• Load and unload trucks and operate warehouse equipment.
• Inspect vehicle and maintain proper logs.
• Safely operate vehicle at all times.
• Work a local route with no overnights or weekends away.

Are you ready?As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home at night.
