Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team in Michigan. You will deliver materials to customers, handle returns, and perform daily vehicle inspections. The role offers a daytime schedule, with home daily and no weekend shifts, supporting our customer-first service model.

The position pays $28.20 per hour with pre-employment screening. A valid CDL B, DOT medical card, and a safety-conscious mindset are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL B.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• 1–3 years of driving experience required.
• Meet and maintain CDL requirements.
• Meet DOT standards and regulations.
• Must have/maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 90 lbs occasionally.
• Background in warehouse/logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket.
• Pickup customer returns and validate product for credit.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel as needed; report issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to PPE safety regulations.

Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver

Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team!

The pay rate for this role is $28.20 hourly.

The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm or until route completion.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL B
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1-3 of Driving experience is required
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs regularly up to 90lbs occasionally
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).
