CBRE is seeking a Union Assistant Chief Engineer in Santa Clara, CA to guide operations and maintenance across buildings, industrial systems, and grounds. You will manage shift work, train staff, and develop preventive maintenance programs for machinery and systems.
The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience, a Universal CFC certification, and strong MS Office skills. You will lead by example, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety and compliance in daily operations.
As a CBRE Union Assistant Chief Engineer, you will guide operations, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain and repair buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Union Assistant Chief Engineer role is $160,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Union Assistant Chief Engineer position is $175,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits:
