Job summary

Event Risk Inc. is seeking a part-time Uniformed Armed Associate to help maintain a safe environment at our Midland/Odessa facility. You will patrol premises, monitor activity, control access, and serve as a visible deterrent to potential threats while assisting employees and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid Texas driver's license, and prior security or law enforcement experience; TX Level III Security Certification preferred, with first aid/CPR training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, indoors and outdoors.
• Evict trespassers and violators, detain perpetrators following legal protocols.

• Enforce facility rules and safety protocols.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents.

Position Summary

The Uniformed Armed Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both employees and visitors at our facility in Midland/Odessa, TX. This position involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The associate will serve as a visible deterrent to potential security threats while providing assistance and guidance to individuals on-site. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills are essential, as the associate will interact with a diverse range of people daily. Ultimately, the goal of this role is to foster a secure atmosphere that promotes peace of mind for all stakeholders.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to monitor for any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and directing them as needed.
• Access control over entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
• Enforce facility rules and regulations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting any incidents or irregularities to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner using the reporting protocols and software.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
