Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Evict trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators following legal protocols before authorities arrive.
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors, answering questions and directing them as needed.
• Control access to entrances and exits for employees, visitors, and vehicles according to protocols.
• Enforce facility rules and safety protocols and report incidents promptly.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and report incidents or irregularities to authorities using reporting protocols and software.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement.
• Active Alabama Armed Security Officer License (Certified Security Officer License)
• Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures.
