Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Uniform Room Seamstress/Seamster to support fittings, sewing and alterations in the uniform room. You will use sewing machines, overlock and blind stitch equipment, a steam iron, scissors and ripper, and you will record transactions for each task performed.

Qualifications include 3+ years of sewing experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to stand or sit for most of an 8-hour shift. Preferred: heat seal machine and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Intranet/Internet.
• 3+ years of sewing experience.
• Ability to stand and/or sit for 7 hours of an 8 hour shift.
• Experience using a sewing machine, over lock machine, blind stitch machine, steam iron, scissors and seam ripper.
• Preferred: Heat seal machine.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities
