Qualifications

• Basic understanding of insurance products.
• Experience in the administrative process associated with quoting/binding accounts.
• Experience in the issuance of insurance policies.
• Ability to work alongside underwriting staff for management reports.
• Proficiency in computer applications like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize.
• Self-starter and problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Maintain underwriting account clearance system.
• Issue quotes, binders, and policies on behalf of underwriting staff.
• Create and maintain underwriting files.
• Collect renewal information and prepare renewal submissions.
• Maintain business logs as required.
• Prepare monthly reports as required.

Skills

Basic understanding of insurance products

Experience in administrative processes for quoting/binding

Experience in the issuance of insurance policies
