EMC Insurance Companies in Downers Grove/Chicago offers a paid summer internship in one of its branch underwriting departments. You will work under guidance and gain exposure to real underwriting tasks.

You’ll learn EMC culture, participate in information gathering for new business and renewals, and develop an understanding of the insurance underwriting process while building your business and analytical skills.

Qualificações

• Business major, preferably in insurance, marketing or finance.
• Completion of junior year preferred.
• Interest in property casualty insurance career.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Education & Experience:

• Business major, preferably in insurance, marketing or finance
• Completion of junior year preferred
• Interest in property casualty insurance career
• Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher

• Analytical ability
• Strong organizational skills
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving

• Good personal computer knowledge necessary to analyze and underwrite risks
