Base pay range

$70.00/hr - $100.00/hr

This is a flexible, advisory role—ideal for professionals looking to share their expertise without disrupting their current commitments.

We're seeking an experienced underwriting expert to help us:

• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and gaps in current underwriting workflows
• Explore underutilized or exotic data sources for risk assessment
• Evaluate regulatory constraints and current workarounds across lines (P&C, specialty, etc.)
• Guide strategic partnerships with data providers and carriers

About You

• Deep knowledge of underwriting practices, risk models, and industry norms
• 6+ years in underwriting, pricing, or insurance product development
• Insight into carrier and MGA operations, including commercial and specialty lines
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, exploratory environments
• Excited by data innovation and AI’s potential to transform insurance
• Ready to share experiences and insights
