Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an entry-level Underwriting Associate in Georgia to support the underwriting team with reviewing insurance applications, analyzing basic risk factors, and assisting in preparing policy documentation. This role focuses on administrative and analytical tasks to facilitate prompt underwriting decisions.

You will review submissions for completeness, assist in gathering data, and help prepare quotes and endorsements while maintaining files in compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in insurance, underwriting support, or administrative roles.
• Basic knowledge of underwriting principles and risk assessment preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Review insurance submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist senior underwriters in gathering and verifying underwriting data.
• Prepare and maintain policy files and documentation in compliance with guidelines.
• Conduct preliminary risk assessments and input data into rating systems.
• Support the underwriting team with administrative tasks such as preparing quotes and endorsements.
