Job summary

Insight Global's client is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support its Facultative Property Reinsurance underwriting team. This role partners with Underwriters and brokers to ensure submissions, policy documentation, and account administration activities are completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of insurance industry experience, strong data entry and policy coding skills, and excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in facultative property reinsurance.
• 3-5+ years of insurance industry experience.
• Experience supporting underwriters on policy administration and account management.
• Experience reviewing submissions and obtaining missing information from brokers or clients.
• Exposure to quotes, binders, policy issuance, endorsements, and related documentation.
• Strong data entry, policy coding, and quality control experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
