Job summary

Berkadia seeks an Underwriting Analyst for Affordable Housing in a hybrid environment, supporting underwriting activities for multi-billion-dollar lending platforms. You'll analyze transactions, prepare formal presentations for the loan committee, and assist in closing and delivery of loans.

Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with Excel and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 0-3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Knowledge of cash flow analysis and exposure to commercial real estate is preferred.
• Experience with Excel and Salesforce is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriters in executing business operations.
• Analyze real estate transactions and prepare underwriting presentations for the loan committee.
• Assist in all aspects of deal processing from application to closing.
• Coordinate underwriting tasks with offshore resources and third parties for timely delivery.
• Conduct site inspections of collateral.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
