As an Underwriter II - Commercial within PNC's Regional Credit Products Group organization, you will be based in Phoenix, AZ; Dallas, TX or San Francisco, CA.

This role is part of our Technology industry vertical and focuses on underwriting and portfolio management for technology companies. We are seeking candidates with prior experience in the technology sector, or a strong interest in developing expertise in technology-focused credit analysis.

Job Description
  • Works under limited supervision or independently. Using independant judgement to identify risks and mitigants, prepares and effectively recommends loan offerings based on scorecards, such as risk ratings, by analyzing credit, collateral strength and financial worthiness of loan/transaction parties and also may have limited approval and/or exception authority. Prepares offerings for specific transactions or in management of a portfolio as assigned and interacts with internal/external customers. May provide recommendations for credit structuring.
  • Using independant judgement to identify risks and mitigants, prepares and effectively recommends loan offerings based on scorecards, such as risk ratings, by analyzing credit, collateral strength and financial worthiness of loan/transaction parties. If relevant, performs ongoing credit risk management for assigned portfolio.
  • Contacts internal/external customers and other parties as appropriate to gather information and clarify inconsistent, incorrect or missing information. May include relevant pre-approval and post-approval activities.
  • Performs or assists with the identification and/or confirmation of all external regulatory requirements. Ensures internal policies and procedures are followed.
  • Makes recommendations on credit decisions or makes credit decisions directly as appropriate.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $75,000.00 – $150,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
