Job summary

ExecuSource, Inc. seeks an Underwriting Assistant to support our growing insurance underwriting team in Kennesaw, GA. This hybrid role follows training and focuses on accurate processing of policy transactions, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.

Responsibilities include reviewing source documents, coordinating with internal/external contacts, and maintaining underwriting files in ImageRight while ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of underwriting support experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Provide professional customer service to internal teams and external partners.
• Process policy transactions including renewals, new business, endorsements, cancellations, and reimbursements.
• Manage workflows for underwriting projects within a paperless system.
• Review, organize, and interpret detailed source documents to determine next steps.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts regarding policy status, certificates, and regulatory notices.
• Perform quality control on premiums, limits, exposure bases, and coding to ensure accuracy.
• Create, organize, and maintain underwriting files within the ImageRight system.
• Ensure files remain compliant with state and federal insurance regulations.
