Job summary

SAIC seeks a Submarine/Undersea Systems Engineer for a 100% onsite role at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. You will provide acquisition support and life-cycle management for submarine and undersea systems, guiding projects from capabilities documentation to system delivery.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or six years of experience, at least five years in submarine program office support, and an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or six years of experience; degree preferred in a technical/engineering field.
• At least five years of experience providing technical and program management support for submarine acquisitions or life-cycle support.
• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Provide acquisition support for submarine and undersea systems throughout life-cycle management.
• Provide technical analysis and program/project management for acquisition scope, trade studies, and cost controls.
• Coordinate and participate in program/status meetings, documenting proceedings and tracking actions.
