Savista, LLC is seeking an Underpayment Auditor I to join our revenue cycle team in Texas. You will review large sets of payment data, examine hospital contracts, and identify underpayment trends to recover lost revenue for clients.

The role requires 1–2 years in managed care reimbursement, familiarity with coding formats, and strong analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of experience with managed care reimbursement and contracts.
• Familiar with ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT Coding, revenue codes, UB and 1500 formats.
• Strong analytical acumen and MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and independent with leadership ability.

Responsabilités

• Review historical payment information to determine reimbursement accuracy.
• Analyze hospital contracts to apply rates, provisions and terms correctly.
• Identify underpayment trends by comparing contracts to actual data.
• Use analytical methods to remove inaccuracies and false positives.
• Verify payor policies and contracts for underpayment variances.
• Coordinate with Contract Specialist team to refine contract models.
• Verify patient benefits and eligibility to reduce denials affecting underpayments.
• Report underpayments and trends to management and audit teams.
