EDAG Inc. is seeking an engineer to develop and release underhood trim components, including leaf and cowl screens. You will mature concepts into production-ready designs, define packaging, interfaces, and materials, and lead supplier and tooling kick-offs.

Responsibilities include planning testing, validating performance, and maintaining DFMEAs to mitigate risks. The role requires 5 years in automotive underhood components, experience through design to launch, and strong knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
5 years of experience with automotive underhood components like leaf screens or cowl screens.
Experience from design concept through tooling, testing, verification and launch.
Working knowledge of DFMEA and 3DEXPERIENCE.
Knowledge of underhood environmental conditions, plastics, sealing, and interface considerations in automotive environments.

Responsabilités

Develop and release underhood trim components (leaf;cowl screens) and define packaging and interfaces.
Mature concepts into production-ready designs and release product definitions.
Lead supplier and tooling kick-off activities; monitor progress and corrective actions.
Plan and coordinate testing, verification, and validation against requirements.
Develop DFMEAs and implement mitigation actions; address water, debris, fit, sealing, noise, and thermal concerns.
Support prototype and production builds, engineering changes, and manufacturing readiness.
