Job summary

Mason Private Locating LLC is seeking an Underground Utility Locator Technician in Nevada to locate and mark privately owned underground utilities supporting fiber optic, infrastructure, and construction projects across the state.

The role involves outdoor work, interpreting maps, operating locating equipment, and maintaining accurate reports. Nevada travel may be required; full benefits and training are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years utility locating experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a physical examination and pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk uneven terrain including dirt, gravel, grass, and roadways.
• Willingness to travel overnight within Nevada as needed.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation.

Position Overview

As a Utility Locator Technician, you'll locate and mark privately owned underground utilities supporting major fiber optic, infrastructure, and construction projects throughout Nevada, where some travel may be required.
