Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry-level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground, promoting damage prevention in your community. We will train you on the job and equip you with basic skills in our 100% paid training program.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of locating equipment; lift up to 25 lbs or more with aids.
• Background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Think Safety First!
• Use a tablet to receive, document, and process tickets and emails.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine locating sequence.
• Locate underground utilities with provided equipment and methods.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
