Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. seeks an experienced underground utility locator to identify and mark buried cables, pipes, and conduits. The role focuses on safety and accuracy to prevent damage during excavation.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, read maps and blueprints, and use company vehicles, equipment, and laptops to document locates and close tickets. A valid driver’s license is required and prior field experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Computer proficiency.
• Able to work in a confined space, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• 5+ Years of experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities.
• Thoroughly search for underground Utilities in a designated area, accurately marking the location, completing the necessary documentation, and photographing each locate.
• Read maps & Blue prints.
• Using a company provided vehicle, equipment, and laptop to document, and close all tickets.
