Job summary

USIC is seeking outdoor-oriented individuals for full-time daytime locator roles in Scottsdale, AZ. No prior locating experience needed, but candidates should be safety-conscious and willing to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.

You’ll locate utilities using company-provided vehicles and document findings for responsible operators. We offer comprehensive training, a company vehicle, a fuel card, a 401(k) with match, health benefits, and a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently (telecommunications, electric, gas, water, sewer).
• Mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate.
