Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate multiple types of heavy construction equipment.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, grade stakes, and project plans.
• Strong commitment to safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, graders, rollers, and telehandlers when qualified.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and material handling for underground utility installation.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications to support installation work.
• Coordinate with pipe crews, laborers, survey personnel, and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-operation inspections and report any mechanical deficiencies.
