Job summary

Sunrock is seeking an Underground Utility Foreman in North Carolina to oversee underground utility installation on our heavy civil projects. You will plan manpower, equipment, and materials, direct field crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure work is completed to spec, on schedule, and within budget.

You will lead crews installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems, mentor foremen, monitor productivity, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and utility companies

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising utility construction in heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility methods, trenching, and compaction.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specs.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid NC Driver's License.
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification.
• Stormwater Supervisor Level II Certification.
• Trenching Safety & Confined Space Certification.

Responsibilities

As an Underground Utility Foreman, you'll oversee all aspects of underground utility installation on Sunrock's heavy civil projects. You'll plan manpower, equipment, and materials, direct field crews, enforce safety standards, and ensure work is completed to spec, on schedule, and within budget.
