The Underground Utilities Project Superintendent leads field operations for large-scale civil and underground utility projects, overseeing safety, quality, scheduling, site logistics, crew coordination, resource allocation, budgets, and daily construction activities. This role partners closely with project managers, engineers, owners, inspectors, subcontractors, and trade partners to interpret plans and specifications, manage costs and materials, maintain accurate documentation and as-built drawings, and deliver work safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Candidates should bring 7+ years of underground utility field leadership experience, strong knowledge of civil construction practices, and experience directing multiple crews and subcontractors on self-perform projects; experience with HCSS/Heavy Job, Procore, or Bluebeam and a related bachelor’s degree are a plus.

For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $117,000 – $161,000 depending on location. This does not include a possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
