Job summary

A utility locating service company in Avon, Indiana, is seeking entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities and promote damage prevention. Training will be provided with a focus on outdoor work. Ideal candidates are at least eighteen years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid driver's license. Compensation is $20.00 per hour along with PTO, paid holidays, and various benefits including a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities

• Use a laptop computer to receive, document and process tickets and email.
• Use provided locate equipment & technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
