Job summary

emerysapp is seeking an experienced Utility Foreman to lead a construction crew on underground wet utility projects. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong safety focus, and proven ability to deliver on time and within budget. Travel to sites around Broken Arrow, OK will be required.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy civil underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and storm installations, with prior leadership experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of heavy civil underground utility construction experience.
• Experience with water, sewer, and storm drainage installation.
• Leadership experience leading a crew.
• Willingness to travel to project sites in and around Broken Arrow, OK.
• Ability to follow safety regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a crew, schedule tasks, and monitor progress.
• Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of underground utilities.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
• Ensure crew compliance with laws, regulations, and safety standards.
• Communicate with project managers to keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors.
• Train crew on safety procedures and best practices.
• Manage project resources (materials/equipment) to ensure efficiency.
• Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction.
• Other duties as assigned.
