The Foreman will oversee job-site safety, compliance with federal regulations, and coordination with project managers to maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years underground utility experience; 1+ year in leadership.
• CDL Class A license; air brakes preferred or obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week in peak season.
• Pass pre-employment screenings including drug test and background check.
• Strong knowledge of trench safety and underground utility installation practices.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations for underground utility projects.
• Direct and supervise crews on equipment operation, trenching, backfilling.
• Interpret blueprints and maps for accurate installations.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and locators.
• Serve as on-site compliance leader for DOT/FMCSA and OSHA.
• Enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Operate CMVs in DOT/FMCSA-compliant manner.
• Track materials, crew hours, and job progress.
• Maintain DOT logs and safety reports.
• Mentor team members and maintain clean, safe site.
• Attend safety and compliance trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
