Job summary

Primoris Gas Operations, including Q3 Contracting, seeks an Equipment Operator to safely operate backhoe and mini excavator for underground utilities installation in the Denver Metro area. The role requires CDL A, PPE adherence, and the ability to perform equipment inspections and daily maintenance.

Frequently travel is required within the Denver Metro area; union benefits may apply, and company vehicle provided with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required or equivalent.
• Ability to read standards and schematics.
• Must follow company policies and procedures.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to wear PPE and adhere to safety regulations.
• Construction experience in natural gas distribution/pipeline, electric, transmission, telecommunications, water, sewer, landscaping, concrete/asphalt, or agricultural.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe and mini excavator for underground utilities installation.
• Perform equipment inspections and basic daily maintenance.
• Travel to job locations within the Denver Metro area.
• Capable of sitting for long periods while operating equipment and using controls.
• Work overtime as workload dictates.
• Lift and handle materials safely (min 50 lbs).
