Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer to join our Telecom Underground team in Michigan. You’ll participate in loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment to support underground construction projects.

You will install underground telecommunications cabling, operate construction equipment, communicate with the crew, and help with site restoration. A minimum age of 18, US work authorization, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; prior tool experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Previous experience operating hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.
• Install underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas.
• Clearly communicate with all team members.
• Complete daily production reports.
• Help with site restoration efforts.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
