Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drill equipment for underground cable installation.

You will verify utilities via potholing, manage bore schedules, and handle site setup, maintenance, and cleanup in all weather conditions. The role requires a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with good driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems during operations.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site setup, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
