Job summary

Yellowstone Local is seeking experienced underground plumbers to service the Greater Philadelphia area, focusing on sewer, drain, and underground piping projects. You will join a team that values safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant plumbing, sewer, drain, excavation, or related field experience.
• Underground plumbing experience is required.
• Hands-on experience installing, repairing, or replacing underground sewer or plumbing lines.
• Strong understanding of underground water and sewer systems.
• Experience around underground utilities (gas, electrical, water, sewer).
• Sewer repair, drain, excavation experience preferred.
• Philadelphia or similar dense urban environment experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground plumbing work throughout Philadelphia, PA, and surrounding service areas.
• Install, repair, replace, and service underground plumbing and sewer piping.
• Complete sewer line repairs and sewer line replacements for residential and light commercial properties.
• Diagnose underground plumbing, sewer, and drain problems and determine repairs.
• Assist with trench preparation, pipe installation, backfilling, and site restoration.
• Work safely around active underground utilities and coordinate with excavation operators.

Your New Role

• Perform underground plumbing work throughout Philadelphia, PA, and surrounding service areas

• Install, repair, replace, and service underground plumbing and sewer piping

• Complete sewer line repairs and sewer line replacements for residential and light commercial properties

• Diagnose underground plumbing, sewer, and drain problems and help determine appropriate repair solutions

• Assist with trench preparation, pipe installation, plumbing connections, backfilling, and site restoration

• Work safely around active underground gas, electrical, water, and sewer utilities

• Coordinate with excavation operators, plumbers, and other crew members during underground projects

• Follow jobsite safety procedures and underground utility requirements

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

• Communicate effectively with field leadership and crew members

• Deliver professional, high‑quality workmanship on underground plumbing, sewer, and drain projects

Hiring Expectations:

• 5+ years of relevant plumbing, sewer, drain, excavation, or related field experience

• Underground plumbing experience required

• Hands‑on experience installing, repairing, or replacing underground sewer or plumbing lines

• Strong understanding of underground water and sewer systems

• Experience working safely around underground gas, electrical, water, and sewer utilities

• Sewer repair, drain, and excavation experience preferred

• Familiarity with working in Philadelphia or similar dense urban environments preferred

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to perform the physical duties associated with underground plumbing and outdoor field work

• Ability to work outdoors year‑round

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Leadership potential and interest in career growth preferred
