Sundt Enterprise is seeking an early-career helper for underground utility work on a long-term project in Sparks, NV. The role supports skilled craft workers and requires the ability to take direction from a foreman. Pay is $35/hr with potential overtime and a per diem for travel over 90 miles.

Expect a 50-hour workweek for about one year, with pre-employment drug testing and safety-focused duties on site. NCCER Core or HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• NCCER Core Curriculum or HS diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience (level I), 2 years (level II), 3+ years in industrial/construction preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in assigned duties.
• Take direction from higher skilled worker or foreman.
• Perform safety-related tasks and proper tool use.
• Maintain positive relationships within the crew.
• Produce high quality work safely and efficiently.
