Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Supervisor for underground mining operations. You will translate the approved weekly plan into resource-ready shift execution, directing crews and ensuring safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Reporting to the General Foreman, you will coordinate with Maintenance, Safety, Training, and HR to maintain safe, reliable operations, manage variances, and drive productivity, cost control, and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in underground mining operations and shift leadership
• Knowledge of MSHA, environmental and incident reporting standards
• Ability to translate weekly plans into safe, actionable shifts

Responsibilities

• Reinforce critical controls and stop unsafe work
• Maintain visible field presence and verify inspections
• Report incidents promptly and support investigations
• Translate weekly plans into shift assignments, hazards, and controls
• Complete accurate shift handoffs and audit-ready records
• Direct shift execution and address variances
