Job summary

CONSOL Energy is seeking a Certified Maintenance Supervisor for Bailey Mine to lead a maintenance crew of CM and/or LW equipment, ensuring high availability and safety compliance. The role involves planning, training, and performance evaluation within a safety-focused environment.

The position requires extensive underground operations knowledge, PA Black Hat certification, and Federal Underground Electrical Certification. Overtime, weekend work, and shift rotations are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Requires PA Black Hat or equivalent certification.
• Requires Federal Underground Electrical Certification (HIGH, MED, LOW).
• Requires working knowledge of coal mining operations, safety, production, maintenance, economics, and staff utilization.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as schedule requires.
• Must be able to work a shift rotation.
• Must be able to lift, carry, pull/push, and work around moving equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to CORE’s safety culture and core values.
• Supervises maintenance of CM and/or LW equipment.
• Plans, trains, and evaluates staff performance.
• Communicates mine plans and policies to employees.
• Coordinates with engineering and maintenance teams to maintain safe operations.
• Orders materials and supplies as needed.
• Oversees overtime, weekends, and shift rotations.
