Job summary

Primoris Distribution Services, Inc. is hiring a Gas Foreman in Balch Springs, TX to lead underground natural gas construction crews and oversee daily field operations.

You will direct crew members, monitor productivity, ensure safety, and verify compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong leadership, planning, and collaboration with customers, inspectors, and other teams, with travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience leading underground gas or utility construction crews.
• Strong knowledge of underground gas distribution practices and safety.
• Ability to read construction plans, utility maps, work orders, and specifications.
• Valid CDL preferred; Class A/B CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground gas construction crews.
• Plan daily work activities and assign tasks.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and pre-job hazard assessments.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT and pipeline safety requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of underground gas distribution systems.
• Monitor progress, productivity, and schedules.
• Oversee excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
• Complete daily reports and job-site paperwork.
• Train and coach crew members.
