Job summary

SSI Fire & Safety Holdings, LLC. is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Underground Utility Operator to support underground utility installation projects. Responsibilities include operating mini excavators, performing trenching, and ensuring safety compliance on job sites.

The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in this field and a valid driver’s license. We offer competitive hourly pay between $32 - $40 based on experience, along with various benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years operating mini excavators or compact track equipment for underground fire line installations.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Basic understanding of excavation safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate mini track excavators and trenchers for underground installations.
• Assist crews with installation of underground fire mains.
• Follow OSHA trenching and excavation safety standards.
