Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or actively enrolled in a doctoral program in nursing or related field.
• Evidence of degree completion by final day of the fiscal year in which they are hired (6/30/2027).
• A graduate degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program or international equivalent.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse with current registration or eligible for licensure in MN and WI.
• Must meet background study requirements according to Minnesota statutes.
• A minimum of 3 years nursing experience in one or more care settings.
• Ability to meet Minnesota State and clinical partner requirements, including CPR and immunizations.
• Official academic transcripts are required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate nursing courses in the classroom and clinical settings across acute or ambulatory care, transitional care, skills lab, simulation, and community practicum.
• Instruct courses in varied locations, times, and media to meet department and university needs.
• Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of field.
• Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study to enhance teaching abilities.
• Contribute to student growth and development including student advising.
• Provide service to the university and community and support the university mission.
