Job summary

Regis College in Weston, MA is seeking an Adjunct Professor for the Spring 2027 semester to teach courses within the BSW program. Classes are held in person on the Weston campus, starting January 19, 2027 through final exams.

Applicants must have an MSW, current licensure, and at least 3 years of undergraduate teaching experience. Industry experience and commitment to inclusive excellence are preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW required; PhD preferred.
• Current licensure in Social Work required.
• 3-5 years college/university teaching experience.
• Experience as a social worker preferred.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence in a diverse educational community.
• Ability to collaborate with other faculty and utilize teaching technology such as Office 365 and Moodle.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more courses in the undergraduate BSW program.
• Engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching: content preparation, grading, office hours, student engagement, academic assessment, etc.
• Communicate effectively with students in the classroom and through email.
• Meet with Program Director periodically to discuss content, student progress, challenges, etc.
