Job summary

Blue Origin in Seattle invites students who have previously interned here to join a 15-week internship program, working directly with Blue engineering teams on aerospace projects across several engineering disciplines.

You will gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from mentors and managers, and participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization. Housing and relocation support are offered, with daily transportation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed one internship at Blue Origin.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Completed at least one year of full-time coursework post high school graduation at the time of application (sophomore standing).
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for space.

Responsibilities

• Interns work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects in support of our business units, across Aerospace Systems Engineering, Avionics Software, Electrical Systems Engineering, GNC, Manufacturing Engineering, Structural & Mechanical Systems Engineering, and Test Engineering.
• Gain hands-on, real-world experience and mentorship from managers and mentors.
• Participate in events to learn about other parts of our organization.
