Qualifications

• Basic familiarity with laboratory procedures, sample handling, and laboratory safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Routine Laboratory Work: Conduct routine microbiology, molecular biology, and analytical laboratory procedures under supervision.
• Laboratory Maintenance and Organization: Support routine laboratory operations by organizing workspaces, preparing and restocking supplies, and ensuring laboratory areas are maintained in an orderly and functional condition.
• Records and Inventory: Maintain accurate laboratory records, sample logs, and inventory of chemicals, reagents, supplies, and research materials.
• Equipment and Supply Handling: Assist with receiving, organizing, storing, and moving laboratory equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
