Job summary

PNC is offering an Internal Audit Summer Internship in a 10-week program designed to expose students to a broad range of audit activities within a leading financial services company.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in testing controls, analyzing processes, and collaborating with audit professionals across locations including Pittsburgh, Birmingham, Cleveland, Raleigh and more. A strong academic record and ongoing bachelor’s studies are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, IT, Economics, Data Analytics).
• Junior status with strong academic record (minimum GPA 3.0).
• Willingness to work in an in-office internship across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Expose to audit process, issues management, and continuous monitoring.
• Test internal control systems and compliance with audit policies.
• Document audit procedures and assess the soundness of controls.
• Assist in transactions and functional testing of books and records.
• Participate in capstone group project on key initiatives or emerging risks.
