During this program, you will have the opportunity to partner with Amgen’s U.S. Value and Access leaders and experience our mission-driven culture firsthand. U.S. Value & Access plays a critical role in helping patients access Amgen medicines. Our teams develop strategies that address how medicines are priced, covered, reimbursed, and made accessible within the U.S. healthcare system. As a summer intern, you will join a U.S. Value & Access team and take ownership of a project tied directly to a current business priority. You will work with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to analyze a real business challenge, develop insights and recommendations, and ultimately present your work to a broad group of U.S. Value & Access colleagues and leaders. Throughout the summer, you will gain hands‑on experience with the U.S. healthcare system and biotechnology industry while building analytical, financial, strategic problem-solving, and communication skills. Each intern will benefit from the support and guidance of their manager, assigned mentor, teammates, fellow interns, recruiting team members, and the greater Amgen community. Upon successful completion of the summer experience, interns will be evaluated for a full-time position post‑graduation. This role interacts cross‑functionally with Value Marketing, Patient Access, Ecosystems & Insights, Sales, Brand Marketing, Government Affairs, Trade & Distribution, Business Unit Leadership, Finance, Accounting, and Legal. This role will provide a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare landscape while building skills and experience that translate across a range of commercial healthcare careers.
